Here's a Masterlist of all my fics, so far. Almost all are Harry/Draco slash; most are oneshots of varying length. The fics are listed by length, with most recent first in each grouping. I am only posting fics to AO3 now, some of the shorter ones are not posted there yet.

In the Library
Written for hp_silencio, a dialogue-free fest, for icmezzo There's no talking in the library at Hogwarts, not under Madam Pince's watch. Unfortunately, there's only one copy of the book Harry and Draco both need for the Potions essay that is due the next morning, so they will have to find some way to share. Quietly. PG, 2,700 words

The Depths of Mystery
A birthday gift for birdsofshore Sybil Trelawney believes in the power of Divination. She believes she glimpses the secrets and mysteries of life. Love
A gift fic for capitu. Love is your heart breaking, a little more every day. Sometimes it means letting go; sometimes diving in head first. But it is always worth it. PG-13 (if that). 3,280 words.

Love Flies Delighted
A gift fic for Penguindreams. A summer's day, bees, stings, magic and honey: basically this fic is fluff on little wings. A very soft R, ~2,400 words.

A Light Too Bright
The bright light of spring is all wrong for Harry and Draco; they are both haunted by their memories of war. Written for melusinahp's Hurt/Comfort Comment Meme. R, ~1,400 words.

Carrots
Draco tries to do one thing to impress Harry and his friends, but slightly misjudges Harry’s attachment to his carrots. Luckily, Draco is quite… attached to Harry’s, er, carrot, too. A very mini (unlike Harry’s carrots) sequel to This Delicious Solitude. Genre: Fluff, R. ~1,200 words.

Slugs and Snails
It isn't every day your ex-wife gets married. A gentle tale of love and gastropoda. (Written as a wedding present for saras_girl & originally posted in the wedding_eels communit). Sara's Girl gave special permission for well-wishers to use any of her characters/worlds; this is a shameless copy loving homage to Turn, the fic which turned me into a total HD shipper. Genre: Romance and fluff, PG-13. ~4000 words

Harry finds himself once more watching and following Malfoy, trying to work him out. When they are drawn together to heal the castle, Harry doesn’t just find Malfoy - he also finds himself.

Cherry Tree Trio
Three fics which detail Harry and Draco's life together. They can be read in any order, but are listed in the order they were written. Sort of Epilogue compliant, but not in a bad way. Genre: Angst/romance. R 3,500-11,000 words.

Silver-Bright (Greg/Luna)
Greg can't sleep. And the moon is shining. More poet!Greg for birdsofshore (a follow-up to The Redemption of Gregory Goyle, below). Fluffy gentle drabble, poetry. 421 words.

The Start of Something Beautiful (Pansy, Hermione)
My first attempt at a drabble, for sortinghatdrabs, prompt Pansy + any Gryffindor + photo prompt. ~600 words

The Redemption of Gregory Goyle (Greg/Luna)
A gift fic for birdsofshore, this is a little side story set in the Sleeping Dragon 'verse, about how Greg was redeemed, and how he became a poet. She's probably the only person who's read it, lol.
Genres: Character study, romance, a bit of poetry. ~3000 words.

Solid (Petunia/Vernon)
Written as a comment fic in First Time Fest, for the prompt 'Petunia/Vernon, first time regretting their marriage,' by lordhellebore
Genre: Angst? G, 750 words.

Merlin (BBC)
( Merlin/Arthur ) Merlin Big Bang. Merlin has been cursed and lives as a hermit, knowing he has lost something, although he cannot remember what. One day he finds a knight, weak and injured, by the lakeside. Inspired by the poem 'La Belle Dame Sans Merci' by John Keats. Genre: Angst. NC-17, ~35,000 words.

Last year I left it almost a year, this year I'm doing this the day of the reveals. This total inconsistency is very me.

I wrote Of Wands and Trees for Saulaie and korlaena, for HD Erised 2018.

I wasn't going to write for Erised this year (I had a lot going on), but ended up signing up as a pinch-hitter, being asked to write about TREES, and then writing 45k in a huge leafy rush. I enjoyed every second of it. Also there is some smut in the fic (also involving TREES), and it had been so long since I last wrote anything remotely sexual that I had to look up my own guide to writing smut. Which was very helpful! Many thanks to my beta readers ICMezzo and Evilgiraffe, although I still snuck some typos past them. Thanks too to the mods for modding, proof-reading, and dealing with extension requests (cough).

I will be back with a proper rec post for some of the amazing art and fic in this year's fest, there was so much that was wonderful. <3

I strongly suspect this could end up being my only post this year - judging by the frequency of my posting over the past 12 months - but I'm so excited: I wrote something! It felt so good to finally be writing again. Remember my desire to write a ficlet each month? In the end I wasn't able to do that, but I did have bits of writing from it that became woven into this fic.

FIC and ART rec:
Also I was gifted with The Deeper Significance Behind Golden Apples, by the amazing oldenuf2nb, which was a wonderful read and even incorporated some art! It has a wonderful Pansy, a sculptor!Draco (imagine how I tingled with the fact that I'd written a fic about a statue and received one about a sculptor for this year's fest), a past-fuck-buddies-who-were-more-but-were-in-denial trope (one of my new favourites), and a really well-written mystery. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it, and if you haven't yet, I highly recommend checking it out.

Just this very moment I have decided to write a ficlet (at least) each month. A little piece of writing to celebrate (or bemoan) the passing of the year, and a chance to play in the HP world.

I'm hoping that by posting this here, I'll keep myself accountable. *crosses fingers*

I wrote The Snitch-Maker for this years HD Career Fair. As I said in my A/N I rewrote it about four times, until I settled on Draco's PoV rather than Harry's. After that it all fell into place.

A huge thank you to birdsofshore for pre-reading, and to icmezzo for doing a great beta (and helping me untangle the tangled bits of the story).

I was hugely inspired on the Snitch-making front by this bbc interview with / video about a scissor-maker (US-friendly link) - such wonderful craftmanship and gentle intensity about getting his work just right. I watched it umpteen times while writing the story. :)

I thought I'd better claim my Smoochfest fic. I had so much fun writing this, and it felt good to be writing again after quite a long break. I actually wrote this as a pinch hit (it makes no difference to how long I take though) so I wasn't expecting to write for Smoochfest, but I'm so glad that I did! I'm writing so much less at the moment, but when I'm actually in the middle of a fic it feels like I've never stopped. Anyway, I have a soft spot for Harry working with his hands and had always wanted to retell a fairy tale. And I became quite obsessed with pottery while writing!

Author's Notes: I’ve always had a fascination for stories like King Thrushbeard (The Taming of the Shrew is another that springs to mind) despite a sense of unease around some of the themes. Writing this story was a great chance to work out what I like about the trope, and to write a story that I can be happy with. I wanted, I realised, to focus on a humility without humiliation. I hope I’ve managed it. The two songs quoted in the fic are the Neapolitan song ’O Sole Mio (from which I’ve also taken the title), and Do The Hippogriff, from the Goblet of Fire film.

Another Sun That's Brighter Still (on AO3)

ETA: I've been on painkillers and antiobiotics all week, and my poor head is all over the place, otherwise I would not have forgotten to link to dustmouth's amazing little sketches for my fic (and others - they are all wonderful)! I am so lucky and honoured that she chose to illustrate my fic. <3

I've been busy with family and Christmas and eating (OMG, the food! I am a little worried that if I make any sudden movements I may actually explode), otherwise I would have written this post sooner. My hd_erised gift was amazing. I was sold even before I opened the link to the art on AO3, thanks to the warning for 'half finished happily ever afters'. But then when I did open the link (whilst sitting with my family on Christmas day) I squealed and jumped up, then had to keep my hyperventilating to a minimum.

There's a deceptive simplicity to the art, to the black and white world of pencil lines. The story-telling is similarly pared back, pining and longing told through glances and half-uttered sentences. And yet there is a real emotional punch to the story, to the idea of tentative, awkward beginnings, all wrapped up in shyness. I think it is a perfect example of 'show not tell', and wonderfully filled with Harry/Draco feels, and most of all, it's beautiful. To read, to look at, to admire for hours on end while ignoring your family. Although that last but might just have been me, lol.

I love Harry's messy hair, and Draco's pointy pining face, and the sea and the grass and the group of friends and.... well, have a look for yourself if you haven't already.

I just want to finish by saying thank you, mystery artist, for making something so perfect for me. I can honestly say that this was one of my best Christmas presents this year. :)

Happy Christmas! Santa has been and I wrote this with stockings and a half-eaten mince pie balanced on the mantelpiece for company. I got to memory twenty-four! I'm so pleased to have got this far. I've written a little epilogue-y but that I'll post in the morning. Thank you for reading along. :)
