Title: Carrots
Word Count: ~1,200
Rating: R
Disclaimer: All things Harry Potter belong to JKR et al, I wrote this for fun and not for money of any kind. Sadly, for me.
Summary: Draco tries to do one thing to impress Harry and his friends, but slightly misjudges Harry’s attachment to his carrots. Luckily, Draco is quite… attached to Harry’s, er, carrot, too. A very mini (unlike Harry’s carrots) sequel to This Delicious Solitude.
Author’s Note: Written for my wonderful friends who first got me into fanfiction, three whole years ago, then slash, and finally the wonderful world of HP and Harry/Draco slash. This is one rabbit hole I have enjoyed falling into: especially with such amaxing company. This little fic is a pure work of nonsense, rushed out one evening for my amusement.

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] birdsofshore for giving the first half of this a quick once over before my mother cockblocked me. Birds went to bed before I finished. All typos are my own.

Warning(s): Bad jokes.
Epilogue compliant? Almost - vague reference made to it.
Word Count: ~16,900
Author's notes: Written for the 2012 [livejournal.com profile] hd_smoochfest. I would just like to apologise in advance: I know nothing about gardening, growing vegetables, living in a village, cider or Devon. But at least I do already know how to make jam - not that anyone makes jam in this. I did try to follow the prompt, including the request for not too much schmoop: I'm not entirely sure how successful I was on that last point. :D Thanks to my lovely betas [livejournal.com profile] birdsofshore and [livejournal.com profile] evilgiraff for their time and effort, as always. Finally, the title is from The Garden by Andrew Marvell, and the lines 'But society is all but rude / To this delicious solitude.'
